Sometimes musician, sometimes poet, and often both at the same time, Julie Aubé is a multidisciplinary artist from Memramcook, New Brunswick. Well established in the Canadian musical playground, she is first known for her involvement in the group Les Hay Babies.
In 2017, she embarked on her solo career as a singer-songwriter and revealed her mesmerizing vintage folk-rock-country style with the full-length “Joie de vivre”, winner of a Music NB Award in the “Solo Recording of the Year” category.
With her dashing voice and a love of song based on her Chiac oral tradition, Julie Aubé sings sings powerfully, to describe her gratitude, her relationship with her native region and love, of course. Her album “Contentement” was released on September 9, 2022 under Simone Records label.
A midwinter celebration of songwriting and storytelling, and flagship partner of Fredericton FROSTival, Shivering Songs hosts internationally renowned artists in historic and intimate spaces throughout Downtown Fredericton, on the unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik people.

Ticket Refund Policy:
Ticket buyers can request a refund (up to 48 hours before performance) with one exception, the payment processor will withhold a 10% processing fee. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment used at time of purchase. If an event is rescheduled or canceled ticket buyers will be notified with options including a refund.
