SUMMARY:Moonlight Snowshoe and Hike & Astronomy Observation
DESCRIPTION:Join us Saturday\, February 24th at 7:00pm for a nighttime snowshoeing and hiking adventure on the Wells Recreation Trails with River & Trail Outdoor Company. Cliff Valley Astronomy will also be on-site offering observation of Jupiter\, the Pleiades\, the Orion Nebula and more with a powerful computerized telescope. Observing will begin at 7:00 PM and end around 9:00 PM. This will be followed by an indoor presentation and showcasing of their meteorite and space rock collection.\nWe encourage you to bring your own snowshoeing equipment. If you are looking to rent some\, contact River and Trail Outdoor Company at (506) 849-7717. Please note\, many have done the walk with just ice grips or simply winter boots. It very much depends on the conditions. If the snow is very deep\, snowshoes are recommended!\nJoin us after the hike for the astronomy observation\, a bonfire and hot chocolate!
