DESCRIPTION:Come on out on April 6 to see the amazing Loveover\, Book Buddies\, and Straight on Til’ Morning!!\nHailing from Saint John\, NB\, Loveover has been together since 2015. They have been developing their sound over the years while working on other projects\, and they released their debut EP\, “Worse Than Before\,” in May 2022. Their main goal is to provide listeners with the same experience they have when playing—fun\, upbeat\, and a little bit emo. Although they’ve transitioned through different styles\, they remain light-hearted pop-punk\, and their live performance engages the crowd with contagious energy.\nHalifax’s Book Buddies packs a punch with their melodic pop-rock instrumentation and powerful lyricism. Their most recent EP\, “Sean\,” released in February 2024\, has received high praise from their fans across Canada.\nDoors at 7:00 PM / Show at 8:00 PM\nDoor $15+tax / Advanced $10+tax\nAll ages\n– – – –\nAccessibility\nHaven Music Hall is a street-level small music venue without fixed seating. This show is combination standing and seating room only. Our entrance exterior is a 34″ wide door that has a small lip/step up from the street. Once inside\, our entrance vestibule has three steps up into the space with an interior entrance opening of 70″. We have two single-use washrooms with toilets. If you’d like more information about accessing our space please email abigail@havenmusichall.com.\nAll Ages Show Details\nThis is a wet/dry show\, meaning both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are served. All patrons will be ID’d upon entry and given a coloured bracelet corresponding with their ticket type (19+ or -19). Bartenders will also be checking IDs at the bar. During all ages shows we are careful not to serve multiple drinks to one person\, so if you’re buying your 19+ friend a beer please bring them to the bar to order with you! All ages are welcome but only 19+ patrons with ID’s may purchase alcohol. Patrons aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a guardian.\nAlcohol Information\nHaven Music Hall is a licensed liquor establishment with policies in line with the Government of New Brunswick’s Liquor Control Act. The Liquor Control Act prohibits the overserving of alcohol. Patrons who arrive visibly inebriated will be refused service and entrance to the event. Patrons who become visibily inebriated will be refused service and will have safe transportation arranged for them. If the patron’s friends or family are unable to proivde safe and sober transportation it is required by law that HMH staff contact the non-emergency line of the Saint John Police Department and arrange transportation with a police officer.\nAlcohol Serving Policy\nHaven Music Hall is a licensed liquor establishment with overserving policies in line with the Government of New Brunswick’s Liquor Control Act. If a patron arrives visibily inebriated they will not be served and transportation will be arranged for them. If a patron becomes visibily inebirated they will not be served and transportation will be arranged for them. Under the Liquor Control Act if a patron cannot be transported home by a sober friend or family member then Haven Music Hall staff are obligated to call a Police Officer to escort them. We check IDs at both the door and at the bar. If someone under the age of 19 purchases a ticket for a 19+ show they will not be admitted.\nSafer Spaces Policy/Code of Conduct\nHaven Music Hall (HMH) is committed to ensuring a safer show experience for musicians\, audiences\, staff\, and volunteers. If you see or experience any form of harassment or abuse please inform the bar staff on site. If you experience harassment or abuse and wish to inform us after the fact please email abigail@havenmusichall.com. This email is read by the HMH owners only and any reports of safety violations will be treated as confidential. Incidents that are reported in real time are written up by the handling staff member and are confidential and kept on file. Abuse and harassment of an audience member\, musician\, HMH staff\, security\, or volunteers will result in immediate ejection from the premises\, potential probationary period\, and potential banning from the premises. The band has a vast range of influences from pop to blues that contributes to their own unique sound which could be described as retro with a modern generational twist.\nOver the last year The Last Call has had lots of events across New Brunswick\, such as headlining the Saint John Moonlight Bazaar and opening for Classified at the UNB Fredericton Kick Off Concert.\nThe Last Call are currently in the midst of recording and releasing their debut first single which will be available in the near future!\nAbout Austin Eatman\nHailing from the port city of Saint John\, NB\, Canada\, Austin Eatman brings a distinct East Coast Alt-Folk style and melodic sound to his eclectic performances. \nIn 2017\, he recorded a song for every day in January\, culminating in his YouTube series (Song a Day Sessions). \nDedicating his life to this musical endeavour\, he joined with Mike Belyea to form “The Sound Investments”\, a folk duo who still play regularly. \nLater he formed a full band “The Austin Eatman Band”\, releasing their debut EP “Broken Radio” in early 2020. \nUnable to tour the EP\, Austin kept busy\, collaborating with local electronic artist and producer “FWLR”\, releasing songs “Lo-fi Beats To Realize You’re An A**hole To” (With FWLR\, and Colin Ferris of “Sheik”) as well as “Lads Me Boys” under the name Brethren of The Coast (with FWLR and Jamie Comeau) \nHe has gained notoriety performing at Paddlefest in St. Andrew’s\, Follyfest in Gagetown and in 2022\, opening up for Whitehorse at the 506 Container Village. \nCurrently he focuses on recording a new full-length album set to release sometime this year with his band\, and playing as often as he can.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/837979731457833/

Events at night in the Cap are accessible through the Tannery – there are not steps or stairs to enter the Cap. The Wilser’s Room & Nest Patios require climbing a full set of stairs. Wilser’s Room washrooms require climbing an additional 6 stairs.\n– Events in the Tannery parking lot are gated\, accessible at ground level\, and are typically accessible to all ages (determined per event). Washrooms can be accessed through the fire exit of the CAP (right side of the building facing King street)\, through the King street entrance of Klub Krome. DESCRIPTION:Come out for another chill evening of sipping and poking at Haven Music Hall! Kass is a queer spiritual tattoo artist and owner of Resilience Tattoo. She’s been tattooing for the last 5 years and specializes in illustrative blackwork and colour tattoos. Kass aims to cultivate a mindful and supportive tattoo experience and this concept has been adapted for an evening of tattoos at Haven! DJ Auntie Molly will be spinning vibey tunes from 7pm-10pm!\nFor this event\, Kass will be tattooing predrawn flash designs only\, released on the Facebook and Instagram pages as well as our website www.resiliencetattoosj.ca. Be sure to check there on May 13 to see what designs are up for grabs!\nEvent is from 4pm-10pm\, first come first serve for tattoos! We recommend getting to the event early to secure your spot! If you’d like to get tattooed\, the tattoo artist’s apprentice will take your information and add you to the appointment schedule. Those who aren’t getting tattooed are welcome to hang out and listen to the tunes!\n19+\, PWYC/free entry to the space.
