SUMMARY:Mike Biggar and Grant Heckman
DESCRIPTION:Hey Folks we are excited to start off the 2024 season with a local artist.\nBy any measure\, Contemporary Roots & Blues artist Mike Biggar is a natural live performer. With a musical history first baptized in a gospel music upbringing\, and soulful vocals that testify still\nto the deep imprint of those early musical days\, he is a picture of a lifetime spent in performance. Onstage his style is equal parts gutsy and joyful. Rollicking\, high energy vocals steam down the line like a roots-inspired freight train\, perfectly paired with infectious melodies and mingled with his warm\, disarming humour.\nBiggar has been honoured with numerous regional awards for many of his albums in his 10- plus years career\, from both the East Coast Music Association and Music New Brunswick\,\nincluding ‘Blues Album of the Year’\, ‘Inspirational Album of the Year’ and more.\nTickets $25.00\, email jjmcquoid@hotmail.com\nClick on the picture above for more information.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/1745775442596754/

SUMMARY:Song Circle-Hampton- Colin Fowlie/Zack Ingles/Amber Walls
DESCRIPTION:We are back for another winter of our songwriter circle tour with Colin Fowlie. This year we are visiting some new places along with some familiar places. Each stop will see guests join Colin on stage to fill the evening with song and stories. each show will see two sets of music with each artist playing 3-4 songs per set.\nGuests for this performance:\nZack Ingles\nAmber Walls\nEntry by donation\nAbout Colin;\nWhen critically-acclaimed Canadian recording artist and versatile singer-songwriter Colin Fowlie arrived on the scene he brought with him a storied past\, unique and compelling compositions in song\, and charismatic vocal stylings. He turned heads with his debut full-length album “Party Music” and has demonstrated tremendous growth and exploration\, making an emphatic statement with his sophomore album “East of Nowhere” in 2021.\nFowlie continues to evolve his craft as not only a singer\, songwriter\, recording artist\, and touring performer but also as a music educator\, mentor\, and content creator. He spends the balance of his time with family or exploring the world on two wheels with the wind in his face.\nThe unique character of his songs fuse elements of folk\, rock\, blues and Americana/Canadiana into a special blend of universally themed storytelling that\, along with his down-to-earth personality\, create magic that audiences adore.\nhttps://www.colinfowlie.com/\nZack Ingles is a singer-songwriter from the Kennebecasis Valley of New Brunswick\, Canada. His music is a blend of classic folk and modern pop rooted in soulful story-telling. Often praised for his unique folk covers of artists like Beyoncé and Harry Styles\, Zack’s lighthearted\, “don’t- take-yourself-too-serious” attitude continues to earn him accolades fans and critics. When performing as a solo act\, Zack delivers a unique one-man-band experience\, featuring banjo\, guitar\, harmonica and a vintage suitcase drum.\nAmber Walls is a country artist from Blackville\, New Brunswick. In recent years\, she has honed her passion for singing\, drawing influence from songwriters such as Ashley McBryde\, Taylor Swift\, and HARDY. Carrying with her a style that falls somewhere between new and 90s country\, Walls has been featured on Miramichi Songwriters – a songwriters circle broadcast across Canada on Rogers TV – and at a pre-season NHL game where she was asked to sing the national anthems. Walls also was a showcasing artist at Festival506 in 2022. Amber released her first single “Should Have Listened to Mama” in April 2023\, after being awarded the Artist Development grant from Music New Brunswick and the Government of New Brunswick. Walls was chosen as a finalist in the 2023 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/920236495701465/
