SUMMARY:Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Tribute
DESCRIPTION:Shivering Songs is pleased to present A Tribute to Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds featuring Stephen Lewis and Bobby Mahar on Thursday\, Jan. 18th\, at The Fredericton Playhouse. Proceeds from this performance will be donated towards funding summer camp experiences for vulnerable/at-risk youth and children at Bar None Camp in 2024.\nStephen Lewis and Bobby Mahar first started playing Dave Matthews songs together when they met in high school nearly 20 years ago. Their combined love for the intricacies of the ways both Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds weave intoxicating stories together through lyrics\, song\, and melody formed an unbreakable musical connection and a lifelong friendship. Through this friendship\, they became dedicated to honoring the songs that first brought them together by paying tribute in the truest form of their musical heroes (Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds)\, while incorporating just the right amount of themselves into each song to make the concert experience truly unique and memorable. \nThis performance is deeply meaningful for both Stephen and Bobby as they join forces and celebrate their friendship through this exceptional tribute. What sets it apart is its ability to transcend the typical musical performance\, offering more than the normal concert experience – by contributing to the creation of joy\, adventure\, and unforgettable experiences for not only those in attendance but also for at-risk youth and children who otherwise might not have the chance to participate in summer camp in their lifetime.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/1981401902224440/

SUMMARY:Are we there yet? Tour- Bryce Clifford & Brother Brisco
DESCRIPTION:These two buddies are teaming up again to impose their songs on the East coast\, get out and show them our hospitality. Buy em a drink would ya?\nMusic at 8 PM\ntips accepted (Gas is expensive out here)\n‘Bryce Clifford & Brother Superior’ put the song back at the centre of rock n roll. With a decade of playing music in Austin Texas\, dubbed the ‘Live Music Capital of the World’\, Clifford’s ‘indie-rock’ background broadened to include deeper traditions of folk\, blue-grass\, honky-tonk\, old school soul … name it – you might hear it. That said\, a Bryce Clifford & Brother Superior set is dominated with driving melodic rock songs that get stuck in your head\, are played with joy\, and have a touch of nostalgia that feels right and hits home.\nBryce returned to Canada in 2021 and started a northern chapter of ‘Brother Superior’ in Hamilton Ontario\, enlisting four of the city’s most seasoned players: Andrew Marshall (bass)\, Robin Pirson (drums)\, Greg Brisco (piano) and (CJ Altmann) pedal-steel.\nThe group began a weekly residency following lockdowns and are currently building a loyal local following\, as well as honing a well-greased and high-energy live show.\nA little bit about Brisco:\nGreg Brisco was born in the heart of the Ottawa Valley. However\, he has called Hamilton home for the past three decades. He’s been actively playing in the city of Hamilton for the past 20 years. You may have seen him over the years play with many local acts like Ginger St. James\, The Dinner Belles\, Junkhouse\, Teenage Head and Tongue Fu and many that have just been passing through the city like Robert Gordon\, Albert Bouchard (of Blue Oyster Cult) and Peter Stroud (of Sheryl Crow) to name a few.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/446438884527193/
