SUMMARY:Saltwater Songs - Catherine MacLellan\, Rachel Beck and Cassie & Maggie
DESCRIPTION:Catherine MacLellan\, Rachel Beck\, and Cassie & Maggie are joining forces to present a songwriters’ circle like no other.\nCatherine MacLellan\, is a musician’s musician\, respected by her peers since releasing Dark Dream Midnight\, her first solo album\, in 2004. As with many performers\, Catherine feels most at home on stage. That moment of connection is what matters most.Though the acclaim for Catherine’s own work was already significant\, it reached new levels when she took home a Juno Award in 2015 for her standout album\, The Raven’s Sun. This was an intimate look into her musical work with long-time collaborator\, Chris Gauthier. Catherine has also been recognized with multiple East Coast Music Awards\, Canadian Folk Music Awards\, and Music PEI Awards.\nRachel Beck is a singer-songwriter from Stratford\, Prince Edward Island\, Canada. She released her self-titled debut record in March of 2018. Her lead single ‘Reckless Heart’ reached #1 on the CBC Music Top 20 Chart and earned Beck a SOCAN #1 Award. In addition\, her record garnered eight nominations at the 2019 Music PEI Awards and two nominations at the 2019 East Coast Music Awards. Beck was awarded the Music PEI Rising Star Recording of the Year and Pop Recording of the Year.\nFrom the deepest roots of Canada and its very earliest musical traditions come Nova Scotian sisters Cassie and Maggie\, putting their own 21st Century stamp on the Celtic soundtrack of this nation. Exciting and innovative\, their talent is surpassed only by the sheer joy they exude in performance. Alternating between Gaelic and English\, traditional and contemporary\, haunting and electrifying\, the duo is nothing short of mesmerizing. Born to a family of deep Nova Scotia roots and a rich musical history\, the two have been enchanting audiences around the world with their unparalleled unity of strings\, voices and fabulous percussive step dance. Theirs is the perfect balance between musical integrity and sheer entertainment as they seamlessly blend tunes passed down through generations of musicians with their own songwriting\, borrowing from other writers\, other genres and other eras.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/3578399949055745/

We have the special big box edition on hand to play! We will have 12 spots total\, but only 4 spots available for the big box game. It will be first come\, first serve for that one!\nCastles of Burgundy is a legendary Board Game design created by Stefan Feld. In this 1-4 players tabletop experience\, you will take on the role of an aristocrat controlling a small princedom. Trying to build a settlement with powerful castles\, practice trades\, exploit silver mines\, and use the knowledge of travelers.\nNow\, this timeless game is coming back with an extremely polished\, high-end special edition resulting from a collaboration between Ravensburger and Awaken Realms.\nIn this special edition\, you can expect a complete re-design of art and layout to ensure that every piece will have great art and enhance in-game usability. Only the best materials (cardboard\, cart paper\, box\, insert\, etc.) will be used to provide endurance\, and a premium feel. Many extra components will bring the gaming experience to the next level\, such as double-layered player boards\, special bags for hexes\, 30% bigger tiles\, or metal coins.\nThe Castles of Burgundy is set in the Burgundy region of High Medieval France. Each player takes on the role of an aristocrat\, originally controlling a small princedom. While playing\, they aim to build settlements and powerful castles\, practice trade along the river\, exploit silver mines\, and use the knowledge of travelers.\nThe game is about players taking settlement tiles from the game board and placing them into their princedom\, which is represented by a Duchy board that is placed in the Player board.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/1395349061135688/
