Born and raised in the vibrant city of Lagos\, Alheri’s artistic journey is a testament to her commitment to bridging cultures through the vibrant medium of textile batik. \nAlheri’s artistic exploration began at a young age\, inspired by the rich tapestry of Nigeria’s cultural heritage. Her early exposure to the kaleidoscope of colors\, patterns\, and traditions in Nigerian textiles laid the foundation for her future artistic endeavors. With an innate curiosity and a thirst for knowledge\, Alheri pursued higher education in business\, earning her Master of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick in Canada. \nDuring her time in Canada\, Alheri’s artistic soul found a new rhythm. Surrounded by diverse cultures and influences\, she discovered the ancient art of batik\, a technique that involves applying wax to fabric and then dyeing it to create intricate patterns.
