Monteith presents hard-rock in a way never before seen. Unmatched commitment to putting on a performance not to be forgotten.\nBand members: Daniel Monteith (guitar/vocals)\, Shaun Monteith (bass/vocals)\, Colton Monteith (drums/vocals).\nNate And The Busyboys\nRock and roll isn’t dead – it’s alive and kicking in Fredericton\, New Brunswick\, thanks to the electrifying sound of Nate and the Busyboys. These four wizards put a modern twist on old school\, good-time rock ‘n roll that will have you grooving from a hoedown to Shea Stadium. Get ready to jump\, jig\, and jive to their irresistible tunes and experience the revival of rock and roll like never before. You’ve seen them at the Cap\, and throughout the Maritimes now come out to Klub Khrome to see them compete in the Coors Light Battle of the bands 2024.\nBand Members: Nate Murchison (guitar/vocals)\, Paul Hayes (guitar/vocals)\, Isaac MacDonald (bass/vocals)\, Hayden Holdsworth (drums).\nHogtooth have been playing together all over the Maritime provinces for the last few years. Last summer was our bussiest yet until tragedy struck when our bass player and great friend Nick Holland was tragically killed on his way home from a music festival we played. He died in the flooding trying to rescue others. We have since regrouped and recruited Dan to try and fill Nicks shoes and get the band back in the road since that was Nicks favorite place to be.\nWe are from Halifax but play often in New Brunswick and have a great fan base there. We are really excited to return to Fredericton and possibly Moncton in August to open for Green Jelly on their tour. We have a sound that keeps everyone moving and a lead singer who takes command of his audience. If you choose us to participate\, we will bring it 100 %.\nBand Members: Allen Byng (guitar/vocals)\, Justin Wheeler (lead guitar)\, Dean Robinson (drums)\, Dan Kelly (bass).\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/267147799811391/

SUMMARY:Connor & Logan Duo Live at The Cottage
DESCRIPTION:Connor & Logan Duo\nat The Cottage\n$20 in person or e-transfer davejaglove@gmail.com\nBYOB\nConnor Fox (Hypochondriacs) and Logan Richard are touring New Brunswick to bring awareness to their respective abilities as two of the Maritimes brightest young guitarists and songwriters. Two stools\, two guitars and two massive talents in one amazing show.\nFox has been playing since he was old enough to hold a guitar\, but that was merely his apprenticeship. In more recent years has turned heads in the role of lead guitarist for the extremely popular live act\, The Hypochondriacs. Outside of that\, Connor has begun to flex his talents in order to realize his own songwriting abilities with the release of his debut album\, Music Room\, which not only highlights his delightfully varied approach to the guitar\, but also showcases his vocal chops\, which get stronger with every performance.\nRichard launched as a solo artist in 2017\, when he was still a teenager. More recently\, this three time Music PEI Award winner and ECMA nominee\, has taken his profile to the next level with support from both CBC Radio 1 and 2\, and hitting one million streams on Spotify. His latest EP\, Learning To Love (2023) showcases a more mature\, reflective side of his songwriting. SUMMARY:Candace Bushnell: True Tales from Sex and the City | Fredericton Playhouse
DESCRIPTION:True Tales of Sex\, Success and Sex and the City\nIn her new one-woman show\, New York icon Candace Bushnell\, the international best-selling novelist and creator of Sex and the City\, takes us on a whirlwind tour of New York City. The original Carrie Bradshaw herself\, Candace Bushnell has lived a full and fabulous life. Her story began with a 1990s New York Observer newspaper column about the lives of her and her friends – dating\, parties\, fashion\, and the big city. Today that column has been adapted into a massively successful franchise (four books\, a tv series\, and two movies)\, and it all started with Bushnell.\nIn this dishy new performance piece\, Bushnell walks the audience through her story: what was embellished for print\, and even juicer\, what was 100% true. Her stage debut (at 65!) garnered high praise from The New York Times\, who noted that “Under the direction of Lorin Latarro\, Bushnell is conversational and accessible onstage\, endearing rather than alienating to those looking on from the outside.”\nThe stage\, dressed as a massive walk-in closet\, lets Bushnell’s stories shine. She discusses the experience of being dumped by her Mr. Big just as she was publishing her first book\, proving that there’s certainly more to life than dating. Indeed\, at the core of her work\, and her life\, has always been her friends. “Maybe\,” she writes\, “our girlfriends are our soulmates\, and guys are just people to have fun with.” From Studio 54 to Sex and the City to Lipstick Jungle and beyond\, Bushnell shares her remarkable philosophy through stories of fashion\, literature\, and sex\, all while pouring cosmos in Manolos.\n.\nThanks to our Performance Partner\, Parkland Retirement Living!\nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/843316797163887/
