‘Switch on Hope’ Energy Poverty Campaign Launch w/ STEPHEN HERO
Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Carleton Community Centre (120 Market Pl, Saint John, NB E2M 0E1) on Saturday, February 24th, starting at 6 pm. Experience the debut of music created by local artist Matthew Elliott (aka STEPHEN HERO and David R. Elliott) during Elliott’s From Harm to Harmony Residency and Mentorship Program last summer. This special event serves as the kickoff for our Energy Poverty Campaign and will spark important conversations about energy poverty; drawing attention to the challenges and inspiring collective action.
Come have a snack, meet the kids, and hear about the process of creating music with them and the ways in which this process of creating music in the community can help engage people in the conversation around climate change. Through the art showcased at this event, we hope to engage our community in the conversation around energy poverty in our province, in the hopes that we can work together towards a more equitable and sustainable future.
