What: Group class progressive lesson series
Who: Anyone! No experience necessary. Couples welcome- but no partner required.
Where: Kent Theatre, 24 Coburg St.
When: Sunday evenings, 5 – 6 pm
January 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th
Cost: 80$
Why: Learn a new skill, become part of the SJSD community, improve fitness, have fun!

Join us at the Kent theatre for another round of swing dancing instruction and practice. The 5 – 6 pm lesson is suitable for complete beginners or anyone who has taken my “knees and toes” footwork-centric beginner class (that was the focus of the fall classes!) This winter series will be moreso “head and shoulders” focused, working on frame, connection, and lots of turns.
From 6 to 6:30 pm, there will be an open social dance floor for practicing and mingling between classes.
From 6:30 – 7:30 pm, there will be an experienced lesson open to anyone who is comfortable with turning and the 6-count basic footwork, and who is looking to expand their dancing beyond the basics. If you have taken both of my beginner classes, you are set up for this class! And if you are unsure if this class is for you, simply reach out, I’d be happy to chat.
