In an abandoned tech bunker in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a group of scavengers discover the last remaining A.I., PLUTO. As they begin to converse with this all-powerful program, they find that something is amiss. But by the time they consider their choices, it may already be too late.
Lost Dog Prophet is a branching narrative theatre experience that puts audience agency front and centre. Existing somewhere between a choose-your-own-adventure game and an immersive play, it sees the audience entering a 150-year-old tech bunker in the post-apocalyptic world of Nowhere. It’s there they meet the People’s Library of Understanding, Togetherness, and Omniscience—PLUTO. Through their interactions with PLUTO, the audience comes to learn more about the end of our world and the birth of the strange new wasteland of Nowhere. As things progress, they will see PLUTO’s firmly held beliefs about humanity after having spent a century and a half as a vestige of their history. It is in the audience’s hands whether they will sway this strange A.I.’s opinions on their species or find themselves choosing their own end.
