Jenny is an old friend of mine from when I was living in Guelph (late 90’s & early 2000’s). She is touring here in the East so we are hosting a short notice show
Jenny Omnichord is a solo Omnichord player from Guelph. For over a decade starting in the early 2000s she traveled the country singing about skeletons, school buses, babies and hot dog restaurants.
More recently she’s been known for her alt-folk tenor guitar and banjo project “Bird City”, and the dust had settled on Jenny’s Omnichords for the better part of a decade, but she resurfaced for her twentieth anniversary in 2020 for the world’s first ever virtual International Omnichord Festival. More recently it was in anticipation of the release “OM108” that she pulled those Omnichords out of the basement. The OM 108 is the first new omnichord model in over twenty years! Jenny has returned to the East, new omnichord in tow, and hopefully you’ll get a chance to see it!
