Mercy, Please! are a collective of musicians who have been bringing their brand of soulful R&B to Canadian audiences since 2016. Blending confessional vocal styling with tight grooves and rich sonic textures, Mercy, Please! will make you a believer in the transcendent power of soul music.
The group explores themes of authenticity, community, relationships, redemption, and salvation. Musically, MP! mix the urgency of classic soul with a modern R&B sound. Elements like the live band and rich vocal harmonies are blended with samples, drum machines, and synthesizers.
Shawn Randall is best know for leading the group Digital circus, for this performance he will be solo with his digital bandmate for some cool grooves.
