With more than 40 years of presenting and performing original music guitarist, composer, improviser and educator Geordie Haley has been a featured artist in concert and festival programs by creative music presenters Upstream Music, Suddenly Listen, 21st Century Guitar Festival , Women From Space Festival, Vocalypse ,Shattering the Silence, Obey, ,Center for Experimental Music ,Saguenay Jazz Fest ,Halifax Jazz Fest, The Sound Symposium and the Harvest Jazz Festival.
Geordie teaches guitar and ensembles at the NSCC Music Arts Program and at the Maritime Conservatory for the Performing Arts. As well as leading his own ensembles,(Beams, Geordie Haley Trio, Threnody Quartet) Geordie is a member of the Upstream Orchestra , the Halifax Trombone Summit , Slats ,Trevor Wentzell Organ Trio, and The Back Alley Big Band. Geordie has an active career as a contributor to many creative projects
