Chickahominy is currently in the process of recording their first full length album ( due for release this summer/fall ). We are using what we make from this show to go towards these efforts. As a small local band every person that comes and supports what we do means so much to us. Equally, every venue that allows us to do what we do means the world to us . Thank ya’ll so much to the good people at Wasted Day and everyone that can come have a good time with us !!
ABOUT THE BAND:
Chickahominy Mountain Band is a New Brunswick based country/folk/blues band. Some would call their genre “Americana” but Chickahominy fans have fittingly dubbed them “New-Brunswicana”. With foot stomping songs about everywhere from McAdam N.B to gritty blues songs about leaving home for the big city like Toronto to beautiful ballads about our back yards…these 5 lads are never a dull moment! With Sam Astorinos cheesy jokes and heart felt songs, Mike Humbles steady thump of percussion & drums, Patrick Gushoes blistering mandolin & fiddle, Don Flatts perfect dusting of piano and Ian Sherwoods ever true low end this is always a musical trip and a absolute party !!!
