Absolute Losers is a rock trio from Charlottetown, PEI, made up of brothers Sam and Josh Langille alongside their longtime friend Daniel Hartinger. Known for their wiry guitar work, laid-back vocals, and danceable interweaving drums and bass, the band made a bold entrance with their self-recorded debut album, At The Mall, released independently in 2023. The album quickly found an audience, earning campus radio acclaim and climbing the charts at CJLO and CHSR, as well as landing the band a feature on Q with Tom Power. In 2024 the band was named “New Artist of the Year” at the Music PEI Awards.
Jon Samuel has been an active multi-instrumentalist since the age of 16. Samuel started to hone his skills and interests in music at all ages clubs in Halifax, such as Cafe Ole and The Pavillon. He’s been a key touring member of the east coast based band “Wintersleep” since 2006, and has been touring the world with his friends ever since. He is currently finishing a new record to be released in 2025.
From the tropical waters of the Lake Atitlán in the Guatemalan Highlands, to the still and frozen Wolastoq river, Oscar Tecu’s compositions tell a storywhether lyrically or instrumentally.
