We’re very excited to be offering our very first needle felting workshop on the farm! Join us on the afternoon July 27th as we start down the needle felting rabbit hole. This will be a relaxed, no pressure, gently guided workshop. We will be there to present ideas, offer guidance and materials, but it’s up to you, as the participant, to bring your imagination and enthusiasm. We will have everything you need to make your own wacky wooly, or a flat felted piece.
What makes this a unique workshop? We will be working outdoors, alongside our small herd of cashmere goats and a handful of angora bunnies. Plenty of goat snuggling and visiting included! We will talk about all things fibre, and everyone will have the opportunity to play with everything from raw sheep fleece to angora and cashmere. We’ll even have a couple of spinning wheels to try out if you’re interested!
What if it rains?? If it’s rainy or terribly windy, we’ll either postpone or move inside, depending on how participants feel about it.
Cost? $40/ person, all materials included as well as snacks. Also, check the discussion section for a way to get a discount on your participation fee!!
Timing? 1pm – 5pm on Saturday, July 27. Although timing is loose, feel free to stay on if you’re not finished or not on a schedule 🙂
