Sean McCann bought his first guitar in 1989 which he affectionately calls “Old Brown” and it has been around!  Old Brown was there for the first song Sean ever wrote and was there as he founded Great Big Sea – the multimillion album selling band that would change his life.  Sean’s music is his medicine as he has struggled with alcoholism, and he shares that music and his stories advocating mental health.  A recent recipient of the Order of Canada for his advocacy, Sean will take the Harvey Hall stage with Old Brown.
